New method of authentication & authorization

AUTENTIFICA (Code) button will generate a unique single password used for logging into Internet Banking
- After inserting the chip card into the reader, press AUTENTIFICA
- After the prompt PIN? Appears on the display, enter your PIN code to your chip card
- Press OK
- If you have entered your PIN code correctly, a numeric code will appear
- Enter the displayed numeric code without spaces into the Internet Banking to login the application
AUTORIZARE (Payment) button used to confirm transactions
- After inserting the chip card into the reader, press AUTORIZARE
- After the prompt PIN? Appears on the display, enter your PIN code
- Press OK
- If you have entered your PIN code correctly, the reader will prompt you with (Amount?). Now enter the amount as it is indicated to you in the payment confirmation screen
- Press OK
- After the prompt (Benef. Account?) pops up, enter the last “n” digits from the account number of the beneficiary from your transaction as it is indicated to you in the payment confirmation screen
- Press OK
- After confirming the account number, a numeric code will appear on the reader display. Enter the code without spaces into the Internet Banking to confirm the processed transaction
The other functionalities from the MENU are reserved for further development.
Important warnings:
- Do not unreasonably press the reader buttons and confirm them with a PIN code since you may desynchronize your chip card and thus disable the use of this authentification tool in the Internet Banking.
- Make sure to enter the PIN correctly. Warning: Incorrect PIN code entered 5 times consequently will block your chip card!
- In case you leave your payment card in the reader, it will automatically switch off after a short moment of inactivity.
- After pressing MENU the reader will switch on again. For security reasons we recommend taking your card out of the reader after you finish the transaction. Moreover, you save its battery.
- If you press and hold MENU for a few seconds, the reader will automatically switch off.
